Ryan Cronin for State Senate

Message from Ryan Cronin:

I recently launched my campaign for the New York State Senate in my hometown district.  I was raised in Nassau County and I am proud of the opportunities it has brought me.  Sadly, Albany’s dysfunction has failed Nassau County and, on top of the mounting economic challenges we now face, Long Islanders send significantly more in tax dollars to Albany than they receive back in services.  Meanwhile, incumbents are not held accountable because they are protected by ineffective campaign finance laws and gerrymandered districts, both designed to ensure their re-election.

I am running because it is time for new, accountable leadership.  I am running because we need a state senator focused on reducing the property tax burden, on facilitating job creation, and on tackling government waste.  I am running because I want to ensure that Long Island remains a great place to raise a family, to work, and to do business.

This will be an exciting year.  I have assembled a bi-partisan team of both Democrats and Republicans committed to changing the 6th district’s tradition of politics as usual.  We look forward to campaigning throughout the district, sharing our message with voters, and continuing to learn their concerns.
